Career Development Conferences
Through DECA, students have the opportunity to participate in Development Conferences. These conferences give students the ability to convey and exchange ideas and plans concerning their business role to judges.
Area Career Development Conference
At the Area Career Development Conference (ACDC) students are given a situation that is relevent to the occupational areas of their event. The situation indicates who you are, who the judge is, what the situation needs you to do, and how you are evaluated. The judge meeting you has the same situation as you. Their job is to listen to your performance, ask you some questions, and evaluate your performance.

Students will attend a variety of different sessions that are led by business professionals and DECA advisors. Students also have the opportunity to start practicing for competition by doing a mock competition. They can attend a marketing fair which allows them to network with exhibitors who are showcasing SBE products, fundraising opportunities, colleges and much more.
